Nigeria has the highest largest economy in Africa (GDP of US$480 billion in 2022) and the largest population (218 million in 2022) in addition to one of the largest populations of youth in the world. Nigeria is a multi-ethnic and culturally diverse society consisting of 36 autonomous states. With an abundance of resources, it is Africa’s biggest oil exporter, ranks first in African in farm output and also has the largest natural gas reserves on the continent.
