Zimbabwe is Mining 2018 Report

Zimbabwe's mining industry is emphatically open for business as a capacity audience learned at the first ever "Zimbabwe is Mining" seminar on June 6 in Toronto - the world's mining finance capital.

The Hon. Winston Chitando, Minister of Mines and Mining Development for the Republic of Zimbabwe led a delegation of senior government officials and business leaders from the Chamber of Mines to Toronto to make the case for Zimbabwe's attractiveness as a mining investment destination.

The program featured a keynote address by the Minister followed by a candid question and answer session, presentations by The Chamber of Mines and the Geological Survey, panel discussions on financing mining projects in Zimbabwe and a risk overview, and project updates by mining companies active in Zimbabwe.

The seminar was organized by MineAfrica and Zimbabwe is Open for Business Forum.
